I saw the movie "Jesus Revolution" last week. Although it was a good movie, it did not portray the real story in its entirety. I suppose that is because it would not set well with all members of the audience. Although the "Jesus" experience was mentioned often, it seemed to be more about the lives of two individuals in the movement with more emphasis on one member more than the other. I did not sense the presence of God from the film. Instead of feeling inspired, I felt sad for the real people it portrayed.

I Was Saved at CC Costa Mesa in 1974 and saw miracles every week - The Greatest Miracles were the hundreds of people Born Again each week and baptised . . I was part of the prayer group when the Blind girl was healed of her blindness. . I saw people rise up from wheelchairs and walk . . But most of these were in the prayer rooms of small groups from Huntington Beach to Riverside Co. I noticed that those who were 'slain in the spirit" fell backward to 'catchers' . . when God baptized me with His Holy Spirit I Fell on my face before Him and Praised His Holy Name . .

I think it was about hating the manifestations of the Holy Spirit. I just heard from a minister that worked with the church back then say that Chuck Smith came to a couple of leaders, one of them being Greg Laury, and said "I don't want people falling down anymore. That has to stop." They said, "We aren't MAKING people fall down." He said, "I don't care, it just has to stop." Well it stopped alright, but so did all the miracles. I joined Calvary Chapel between 1989-2000, and I never saw even one miracle or healing. Mike Mactinosh; pastor of Horizon, would always talk about the good old days when God healed people in the 70s at Calvary Chapel. All his stories were old. Years gone by. I asked the Lord why did He stop doing miracles. I didn't get that answer until 2007 when I heard about Lonnie for the first time amazingly. Strange how they could write him out of their history. I also found out that Lonnie would pray for people to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit after they got saved. That was removed from the Calvary Chapel tradition too, and thus the Holy Spirit wasn't really welcome anymore or any of His manifestions that Chuck Smith felt were too weird. Now I know why the healings ended.

I watched the Larry Norman documentary tonight and it made me wonder where the re-recorded versions of these songs came from. I like these alternative versions very much.

People make mistakes in life everyday, ALL people. Why does it seem christians are so ready to crucify their own so quickly.

I've loved this song since I first heard it on the "The Sky is Falling" Album. I really love the whole feel and vision of it. Especially in this day and hour of Fallen Humanity. Not sure if I like this version better but it's a great piece that speaks to my heart. Thank you Randy for all your Love, madness and servitude through all the years of the race.

I can verify that Larry had an Australian son, as I was engaged to his mother, and personalty spoke to Larry on several occasions in relation to such. We are all sinners saved by grace it sounded that Larry behaved at times in a ghastly manner and I hope that people can see through the flaw of the man to recognise that at times he had a very strong and sound message

Breaks my heart for real....obviously there is no joy in seeing how broken this man was. I think of the Scripture "Jesus wept." Larry Norman profoundly impacted my early walk with God and I am grateful I did not know at the time.

Larry Norman is not an actor, he's a liar! I can already smell the sulfur burning around this son of Satan.

I think Larry was much like Samson......God forbid.....Solomon.....maybe even Manasseh....who eventually repented of Satanism and child sacrifice.....if God could forgive these people.....who knows? You are right......accountability! The only way to fly.
